Esme has spent most of her life focusing on gymnastics training up to 12 hours a week and competing in many gymnastics competitions. Her dedication and hard work paid off and Esme had some excellent achievement’s. Esme has represented Western Australia on the country team twice and been named reserve twice. Esme was also selected for the state squad for Women’s Artistic Gymnastics.
More recently Esme has been prioritising Australian Rules Football. Esme is taking every opportunity available to her in this sport playing in both male dominated and female leagues. Esme’s skill has not gone unnoticed and Esme has played a practice match with Claremont Under 16’s and participated in state performance testing where she performed to a high level over all metrics including receiving an elite rating with a fifth over all for the yo yo testing.
This season Esme intends to play with the Denmark Walpole Football Club with their women’s team and will be participating in Claremont’s preseason as much as possible with the intentions of playing some games in their up and coming season.
Esme is also participating in the Great Southern Storm summer program where her strength and football skills are growing.
