Ava Marmion

BASKETBALL

Ava Marmion is an aggressive small forward. Her ability to finish from the outside and from the post make her a versatile player.

In Albany, Ava plays in Women’s A Grade for Barking Owls and U18 Albany Raiders. Ava is a two time WA State Country Basketball squad member. Ava is hoping to represent WA country in the upcoming U18 National Championships.

When Ava is not on the court, she is giving back to the basketball community. She’s been a head coach for a junior team for the past three years as well as an assistant coach in the Albany Raiders Development Program. She also actively contributes to the Albany umpiring roster. This extra commitment and mentorship has lead her to receive the ABA junior sportsperson of the year for the 22/23 season and Junior owl of the year for the Barking Owls basketball club.

Ava hopes to continue her success in basketball in her future years.
