Ginger Gleeson

TRACK & FIELD

Ginger is a track and field athlete specialising in the 400m and 800m, running for both Albany Little Athletics Club and Albany Athletics Club. 

Ginger has represented WA on numerous occasions — including the 2023 Australian Little Athletics Championships in Melbourne; the 2024 Australian Cross Country Championships in Tasmania; and the 2024 Australian All Schools Athletics Championships in Brisbane. She is the current WA State All Schools title holder in the U15 800m.

Ginger holds three WA Country Records in the U15 400m, 800m and 1500m; plus numerous records with the Albany Little Athletics Club. 

In coming years, Ginger hopes to achieve national selection onto the team for the World Under 20 Championships.
