Another outstanding runner has joined the academy, PG van Wyk. PG is Albany based and runs the 1500m, 800m and 400m competitively, being selected in the State Junior Athletics Development Squad in recent years. He is also a gun cross country runner, recently breaking local school records and claiming top step Last week PG competed in the All Schools State Cross Country and placed 14 out of 140, earning him a spot to trial for the State Team in coming weeks.

PG has his eyes set on the 800m and 1500m at the All School Track and Field Championships in October, and ultimately hopes to be selected for the WA State Team.
