Abbey O’Donnell

MOUNTAIN BIKING

Abbey is a mountain biker specialising in the disciplines of Gravity Enduro and Downhill. She has competed at both a State and National level for several years and has acquired an impressive portfolio of results during that time.

2023 was an excellent year competitively with Abbey claiming the WA U/17 Downhill State Championship title and securing the State Series win, the WA U/17 Gravity Enduro State Series win, and the WA U/17 State Pump Track Championship title. Abbey recently attended the Cannonball Mountain Bike festival, a National Cup round, in Thredbo, NSW, finishing 6th overall as a 16-year-old in the competitive U/19 women's division.

Looking ahead, Abbey has set her sights on the upcoming Gravity Enduro National and Oceania Championships, which are being held in Collie, WA, as well as racing the remainder of the 2024 State Gravity Enduro and Downhill series.

Abbey is thriving in the GSAS training sessions in addition to her own individual program, preparing for the upcoming events of the season, aiming to strengthen her position as one of Australia's future young athletes in mountain biking.
