Mckinnon is an up-and-coming volleyball star based in Albany. Mckinnon currently plays for ASHS in the Albany Men's Premier League as the team's pass-hitter.

Mckinnon was recently selected for the U19 State Volleyball Team and is trialing for the U18 State Squad. Mckinnon's current goal is to make the travelling team for U18 and to play at nationals.

Eventually he would like to move to Perth and play amongst the best in the Western Australian State Team.
